Adam Sadowski – organist, doctor of social sciences.
I am a graduate of the Academy of Music of Stanisław Moniuszko in Gdańsk in the organ class of prof. Roman Perucki. I graduated in 2010, getting my master’s diploma. In 2014 I also graduated from the Postgraduate Studies in Organ Interpretation at the Music Academy in Gdańsk.
In 2012-2016, I completed doctoral studies at the Institute of Psychology of the University of Gdańsk. In 2018 I received a doctoral degree in social sciences in the field of psychology, defending my PhD thesis with distinction, which title was: Features of temperament and personality in relation to the level of perfectionism and fright with musicians different specialties.
My interests focus on the psychological determinants of musical performance. I have published scientific publications in Polish and English literature, which pertain my literary output. I also conduct trainings on the same subject.
I am the organist of the parish of the call of Pentecost in Sopot Kamienny Potok. I am also the conductor of the Holy Father Pio choir and the founder of the “Beam of Art Association”. I exercise artistic direction over the “Organ Festival of Saint Michelangelo” in Płońsk,” Sopot Organ Evenings “and” Ciechanow Organ Evenings in Fara”.
I perform as a soloist and chamber musician at the International Organ and Chamber Music Festivals in Poland and abroad.
